Supported AI assistants
The connector speaks the open MCP standard and works with the major assistants – each with the same tenant-isolated access:
- Claude (web, desktop, mobile): Settings → Connectors → "Add custom connector" → paste the URL https://app.aimipro.com/mcp and sign in with AIMI. On Team and Enterprise plans, the owner adds the connector once for the whole organization.
- ChatGPT (Business/Enterprise): The workspace admin adds the connector under Settings → Connectors – after that, chat and Deep Research work with your AIMI data. On Plus/Pro, Developer Mode is the way in.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot: AIMI provides a ready-made agent for Copilot, Teams, and Outlook. Distribution is handled by your M365 administrator – talk to us.
Security & data access
The connector has strictly read-only access to the documents and analyses of the organization you sign in with. Authentication uses the OAuth standard with your existing AIMI account; AIMI does not store your assistant's conversations and never trains public models with your data. Like the entire AIMI platform, processing takes place on Microsoft Azure in the EU – details in our Privacy Policy.

What is the AIMI connector?
The AIMI connector is a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol) at https://app.aimipro.com/mcp. MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot securely access external data sources. With the connector, your assistant works directly with the data rooms and analyses of your AIMI organization.
Which data does the AI assistant see?
Only documents, projects, and analyses of your own AIMI organization. Access is tenant-isolated through your personal AIMI login and strictly read-only: the connector cannot upload, modify, or delete anything.
Do I need technical setup?
No. In claude.ai or ChatGPT you just paste the server URL – your AIMI login opens automatically, with no keys or configuration. The Microsoft 365 Copilot agent is distributed by your M365 administrator as a ready-made package.
How do I use the connector day to day?
For due diligence questions in plain language: cross-checking a lease clause, reading a land register extract in full, or summarizing the findings of a technical due diligence chapter – right in your assistant's chat, grounded in the real documents of your data room.
